With its fascinating recent history (relatively speaking), world class museums and an absolute wealth of super-hip subcultures, Berlin is one of my favourite cities to visit, and somewhere I'd love to go back to time and again. The holocaust memorial is one of the most impactful pieces of public art I've ever witnessed.
