A trip to celebrate my 30th birthday starting with a few nights in Venice, followed by a train to Vienna for a few nights there. Despite it being late December we were lucky enough to get extremely good weather, especially in Venice, and with it not being the prime tourist season it really felt like we had this otherwise tourist-swamped city to ourselves.
The vast majority of the photos below are in Venice, it's just such a photogenic city. I loved Vienna too though and, of the two, it's probably the place I'd most like to return.
